On being an artist and a mom
I am really enjoying this phase of my son’s life (developing language! so fascinating!) so much and I love that I can be around for so much of it. I plan to amp up my ambition in a few years again, but for now I do my best.
To get to the studio, I had to leave the sink full of dishes and the diapers unfolded. I had to work it out with my husband. I had to ask for help and believe that I needed it and it was important.
We got a dishwasher.
