Angela Lopez
Biography
Angela Lopez is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago. She co-creator and organizer of Extended Practice - a platform to support the work and needs of artist mothers - and has curated exhibitions and an international animation screening within this project. Lopez has exhibited her work in solo exhibitions across the Midwest including at Charlotte Street Foundation (KS) and Demo Projects (IL) and, Indiana University Northwest. In addition, he work has been shown internationally in group exhibitions, including the Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art (MO), Hyde Park Art Center (IL), and Centro de Produccion y Edicion Grafica de Buenos Aires in Argentina. She holds a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute, and an MFA from Northwestern University.
