On being an artist and a mom:

Studio time is ever changing. My work is made with my children, while they are at school, while they sleep, on a work break, waiting in the car while they attend classes, on the off chance that I have childcare, and sometimes while doing the laundry. As my children get older and more independent, and my career shifts I am focusing more on building in regular solitary studio time 1 day per week sometimes on the weekends and sometimes while my kids are at school.
