About her work:
"Using the studio as site of focused attention, I create assemblages from fragments of consumer society, remnants of the artist studio, and flora of the domestic landscape. After my first child was born, I turned my focus to my immediate surroundings, looking for freedom in the expansive beauty of my domestic environment. I found in my home and garden endless possibilities for still life imagery that would honor my domestic labor and provide a return to artistic production after a lapse while I cared for an infant."
